Mendez Named Second Team All-American

Dallas College North Lake's Ava Mendez was named a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Volleyball Second Team All-American.

A freshman libero, Mendez had 623 digs and 37 aces. She averaged 5.99 digs per set. She ranked fourth in the country in digs and 10th in digs per set.

Mendez ranked fifth all time in North Lake history in season digs.
