Coyote leads nation in softball strikeouts and wins
Weatherford College softball pitcher Sarah Hanf leads the nation in strikeouts and wins, according to National Junior College Athletic Association Division I statistics as of Monday, March 3.  
Hanf had 92 strikeouts in 14 games played, leading Haley Crawford of Temple College by four strikeouts (88 in 13 games).  
Hanf is also tied for the national lead in wins with a 13-0 record (Cailyn Heyl of Northwest Florida State College is 13-1). 
A freshman from Elk Grove, California, Hanf had a 1.45 ERA in 67 and two-thirds innings through Saturday. 
The Coyotes are 16-2 overall and 4-0 in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
