Federer claims Region 5 Soccer Player of the Week honors

Philipp Federer of Western Texas College was selected the Region 5 Soccer Player of the Week.

A sophomore forward from Gabersdorf, Austria, Federer helped WTC grind out two impressive outings against Jacksonville College and Blinn College. In the two ties, he recorded two goals.

Western Texas College, now 3-2-4, will return to action on Friday when they travel to Fort Worth for a game against Hill College.
