Region V Men's Basketball Players of the Week (Feb. 6-12)

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 6-12.

The Region V Players of the Week are Zarique Nutter of Clarendon Community Ciollege and Isaiah Wyatt of Southwestern Christian College.

A 6-6 freshman forward from Newark, New Jersey, Nutter led Clarendon to a pair wins last week. He went 23-34 from the floor, and hit 11 of his 12 free throws. In the two games, he had 17 rebounds, seven assists and four steals.

A 6-4 sophomore guard from Toledo, Ohio, Wyatt was the NTJCAC POW selection. In two games, he scored 52 points, including 28 in the Rams' 77-59 win over Ranger, by going 17-for-33 from the field, and hitting on 10-of-18 tries from three-point range. He also knocked down eight of his nine free throw attempts, grabbed 19 rebounds, four steals and dished out three assists.
