Region V Men's Basketball Player of the Week (Jan. 16-21)

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 16-21.

The Region V Players of the Week are Chris Pryor of McLennan Community College and Myles McCrary of Southwestern Christian College.

A 5-11 guard from DeSoto, Texas, Pryor was 7-9 (77.8 percent) from the field including 3-4 (75 percent) from 3-point range, and 3-5 (60 percent) from the free throw line for 20 points in the Highlanders' 86-72 win over Ranger.

A 6-5 forward from Fort Worth, McCrary was 12-of-18 from the field and hit on 9-of-10 attempts from the free throw line. Overall, he had 33 points, 12 rebounds and three steals in the Rams' 85-81 win over Grayson College.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conferennce did not nominate a player for the Region V honors.
