WJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (April 9-15)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Baseball Players of the Week are Reese Bassinger of Odessa College and Jalen Meyers of Frank Phillips College.

A sophomore third baseman from Euless, Texas, Meyers was named the WJCAC Position PLayer of the Week. During the week, he batted .474 with four doubles, three homers and 10 RBI. He also drew four walks and scored 10 runs.

A sophomore from Wylie, Texas, Bassinger was named the WJCAC Pitcher of the Week. He tossed a complete game shutout. En route to collecting a win, he allowed just three hits while striking out four in seven innings.
