NTJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (March 4-10)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of March 4-10.

Sheadion Jamanika of Vernon College and Josh Breaux of McLennan College are the Co-NTJCAC Baseball Position Players of the Week.

Jamanika, a freshman infielder from Curacao, went 14 of 22 at the plate (.636) for the week with 5 doubles, a triple, a home run, 6 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He had a slugging percentage of 1.090.

Breaux, a sophomore catcher from Tomball, TX, hit. 533 with 2 doubles, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs, 9 runs scored and 8 walks drawn. In an 11-5 win over Hill, he went 3 for 4 with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs.

Jean Muntaner of Vernon College is the NTJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore lefthander from Puerto Rico went 1-0 last week. In 7 innings pitched, he had an ERA of 1.29 and only allowed 5 hits. He recorded 5 strikeouts with just 1 walk in a win over Grayson.
